Pick a goal that you can work on anytime.
Decide that you will not spend any time behind the PC or TV for say 30 days.
If you get bored, take action towards that goal.
If you accomplish this goal. Pick a new one.
If you are not having fun after the first week or so, pick a new goal.
The idea that you need to distract yourself or 'burn some time' is absolutely redicilous. Time is the most precious commodity in the world (without time, nothing is valuable), please don't waste it or distract it away.
Ps. Goal becomes hobby after a while.
