Wow, what a great improvement over the 6 year period! Some people never manage to get out of that kind of place you used to be, so it's great to see how you've managed to get into a better place.
Sounds like you don't want to work in order to express your inner desires, you simply want to do all those non-revenue building type of things. Thus, if things were ideal, you would have enough money to live off without having to work another day, that way you could go do all those things you desire.
