I think America and the world has three + 1 choices.
1 ) Continuation of war on "oil terrorist" in Iraq for another (n+5) years, a bloody war with Iran and possibly Russia to forcefully secure Petro-dollar link to ensure that paper dollars remains the #1 foreign reserves for some years. ( Mc Cain or Hillary ).
2 ) Sit and wait for the demise of dollars and monetary system, and sink the world into hyper-inflationary chaos , civil wars or massive social unrest until a new monetary system is devised ( Obama or Hillary )
3 ) Ron Paul as president/world savior/"messiah" to abolish the unconstitutional Fed, uphold non-interventionist policy and start implementing commodities backed currency to restore integrity and confidence of monetary system. Iran begins to trade oil with US gold dollars . Everybody wins and nobody dies in war. The world is rescued from the brink of chaos and destruction.
4 ) Obama/McCain/Hilarry to adopt Ron Paul's stance and goes to 3)
