I think it's important to try to develop outer resources, like money, friends, etc. But many people feel paralyzed and procrastinate because they're putting their action somewhere in the future all the time.
They think.. when this happens, I'll do this. Or if I had this, I might do this. That's why I think it's important to focus on what you can do and worry about what you need as you go along.
