When I was 18 years old the man of my dreams walked into my life. I was just a kid though. I moved in with him within months and we traveled all over the ne and canada for a year or so and we were very close. We were from different cultures and there was tremendous pressure from family and his job for him to drop the relationship. He had the idea that if it was meant then it would be easy. So he ended the relationship and I was heart broken. I however laid in my bed each night for months listening to a song that essentually confirmed our separation was temporary and I was willing to wait and some day he would be back in my life.

Well life moves on and we both married different people and had kids and the marriages were not big successes. So 28 years later - I discover him on myspace and ask him if it was indeed him. He responded that he always regretted leaving me and wanted to pursue a relationship again. 30 years after our initial meeting we were married and have been married a year and a half. I wish it had not taken so much time to manifest but I am grateful that he is back in my life.

Now if I can do that - I can do anything
