Interesting question Jeri - I was going to answer no - but then i thought:
Aged 3 I put dried ornamental grass into a gas fire and set our living room on fire!
Aged 7 - 11 I was obsessed with lighters, matches, candles etc
Aged 13 started burning joss sticks in my room
Aged 18 - 22 - the number of kitchen fires we had from the old greasy grill in our student house was ridiculous!
Aged 23 - my cat burnt his fur by sitting too close to the gas fire (he's fine now)
Aged 28 - on holiday with friends I discovered a fire in the far room of the cottage when a burning log had fallen out of the grate. No-one else heard the smoke alarm over the music, so if I hadn't gone to investigate when I did, it would have been a lot worse!
Currently fire marshall at work and regularly have to train people on fire safety.
But you're right, until this post, I hadn't given any of these things a second thought. I don't believe I attract fire - it just is there.
(obviously now I am completely freaked out!)
