Which brings me to my question. When you all connect with your guides, is it through language or via images and your senses that then needs to be interpreted? I ask because after finishing this book I've made a conscious effort to silence the conversation that goes on constantly in my head and pay more attention to information I'm receiving via my senses (not necessarily feelings). It seems to make a difference.
I think we each have to find which senses are our strongest. Of course, we have capacity for all of our inner senses. It's the same for the methods to connect. There's a lot to choose from: automatic writing, typing, channeling, hypnosis, dreamwork. At first I focused on one so that I could strengthen my abilities. Now I sort of pick and choose according to my mood.

One book I highly recommend is "Openning to Channel" by Sanaya Roman. It's extremely positive and useful for making that connection to your guide(s).
