How did you handle it your first week or so?
I lift weights most days, but I put it on hold for the first week of the switch (when I knew I'd be tired). Afterward, it was just like starting after any other period of a week off - slightly less weight for a couple of days, but that's all.
After this week-and-a-half, it was back into it as usual. There didn't seem to be any difference in recovery, DOMS, ability to gain weight or anything else related to the weights.
Out of interest, what sort of weightlifting/exercising do you do?
