Moving through solid objects is really tough. It took me a long time to be able to do it.
Some tips and advice:
1. Believe you can. More important than you probably realize.
2. Move through as quickly as you can, don't dally or play with it.
3. Once you penetrate the "solid" it will feel almost like you are becoming part of it as your molecules combine with its molecules. That's why you need to move quickly to keep your coalescence (is that a word?) Don't let your energy combine with its energy.
4. Get a running start and launch yourself through.
5. Close your eyes.
