Unfortunately the media is a business and so they push what sells. Who cares about who recieved the Nobel Prize we need to know who made the cut in American Idol. And violence sells. Others misery is anothers entertainment. Plug more violence on the news produces more violence and then equals more news and more money. The days are over when news reporters went on crusades for the truth or real public awarness. Someday maybe the media or someone will not resort to selling out and reporting the real news and the news that really helps us. But some news reporters get paid as good as Hollywood stars so why start reporting the truth. |
