I don't have a favorite meditation technique. What I do throughout the day is to focus my awareness on different dimensions. For example, I was walking thru the mall today and focused my awareness on the entire field of consciousness. On the drive home, I rested in the "no state state" or the "I Am" taught by Sri Nisargadatta. Feeling the body is also a great meditation.

Another cool thing to do is to be as if you are a child at the circus for the first time. Everything is new for the child, there is little or no conceptualization. I will be as if what I am doing is for the first time (which is actually true). This gets me very interested in whatever I am doing and very present as a result. The key seems to be to know nothing about what you are doing or focusing on.
