I have no idea what these energy or vibes are, so tell me what are they. Give me the basics. I am really lost on this energy thing. Is it the same energy you feel while say, do something exciting(or as Steve Pavlina put it, riding the wave).

I am so confused about this matter that I don't even know how to pose this question, hope you understand.

P.S I'm 14.
First of all, like Angela praised you for (and listen to her, she rocks!), being 14 and asking these questions and being here on this forum is just so wonderful. And I don't mean to be condescending by saying, "wow! you're only 14!" It's not a "oh how cute!" by all of us that say that, it's more, "Wow! I wish I asked these questions when I was 14" kind of thing. Appreciation. Respect.

From what I remember (14 is half my life ago) everything is kind of jumbled up and presented as 'reality' to you. It's hard to separate emotions from reality, as much as it is to separate other people's emotions from your own experience.

Have you ever met someone and just felt comfortable? Or, the opposite--you meet someone and are immediately set off? In the latter example, you might think, "What's his/her problem?"

If not, who do you feel comfortable talking to? At 14 or at 28 or at 78 there are people we feel comfortable opening up to. That would mean you're getting a good energy from them. Or maybe you go somewhere--maybe it's a school tour (when and if you visit colleges you'll see what I mean) or a cafe or a concert, and you immediately feel comfortable and/or inspired? Or, maybe the opposite? Sometimes you go somewhere--it might be a coffee shop, or a teacher's class--and you instinctively feel one way or the other.

Listen to your feelings. Trust them.
