I like music that makes me feel good, I don't care about genres.
A friend of mine was throwing away classical CDs. He didn't even consider listening to them because he was not "into" classical music. Neither was I, but I'm a curious kind of person. I listened to the bunch of CD's, and one of them really stood out: Chopin. I've been hooked ever since, collected all his work, read biographies and study his music inside out. I love that man, because he seems to describe a lot of the feelings I have in such a subtle way. Feels good to know someone understands. You can fake your feelings when you speak, but your music reveals what you truly feel. You can't hide that.
I like Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart. Mostly on an intellectual level.
I like Chopin, Fauré, Debussy, Rachmaninov, Schubert, Liszt and Vivaldi on a more emotional level. I listen to a LOT more composers and genres, though.
