Don't get me wrong- I like what you write! The analogy works pretty good. It "feels" right.
I would add that even though we are like rain drops connecting along the way to returning to source - we can feel being source even before getting back to the ocean.
And then it's probably up for debate - are we parts of the whole? or the whole at the same time as an individual? Maybe I'll make a poll for that.
