Gibran in "The Prophet" says that if a woman is unfaithful, we should look at the man's heart (which caused her to be unfaithful). That may be true to some extent, but it was the woman's own decision to cheat on him not his. It's all about intention. It was her intention to be unfaithful to him, it was not his intention to be in that situation- who wants to be? So her intention to do what she did affected him. And maybe it would work out for the best where he could find someone who would treat him better. Everything works out for the best.

If the woman cheated is because the woman wanted/intended it, I think. She has intentions, like everyone.
