Yeah...but like i've also said,whenever two people start dating,thats still all they know about them,and sometimes not even that! I am only just asking for a chance to find out what this could become,i'm not saying he is the best man on this planet,i am saying i want to find out the reason for all these "signs" and i want to know what would come of being with him. Knowing is overrated. It doesn't help to know. It's not really a matter of if you know him or not, then. It's a matter of available or not. He lives somewhere else. It's hard to hang out with him. Those are strong "signs" or realism.

Well i'm realizing that now,but isnt that a good thing? If the mind can create all this,why wouldn't it create the actual thing i'm thinking about?! Obviously i've gotten really good at it LOL *rational brain interjects-Yes i know,you cant use law of attraction on an ACTUAL PERSON*

There must be unconscious things that are being shown to you in this situation that you have to consciously work on. The universe is showing you something in this situation. Most of us do not know completely what our subconscious is thinking (that's why it's called "sub" or "un" conscious). A lot of it habitual. You may have a habit of chasing guys that are not available or wishing for something that is difficult.

*gasp* This is horrible!! I want to cry after reading that! lol I can't believe the universe would be so cruel! Why would it give others something they focus on but to others it just rubs it in their face!?

Don't hang on so tight to things. The universe is full of temptations. That's why we incarnated to have opportunities to choose from. It's a choice and part of you asked to have this situation come about - and you have even been reinforcing this situation with this thread and all the soulmate questions.

So basically you're saying that anytime anyone thinks about something so much that they get signs from the universe about it,that isnt really what they want after all? Why isnt there a more practical method for this?!

When we engage our imagination the universe listens. Also it listens to what ever the habitual vibes are from unconsciousness. That is why the universe pops out manifestations, for us to see what our whole being is doing - consciously and unconsciously. It not just what we think in consciousness - it's also our whole vibe with unconscious habitual thought forms running around. The universe will show us what we think we don't want out in cases of our habitual thoughts not being in line with what we consciously think.

The unconscious reflections are harder to recognize - because we don't think it's something in our vibe. But unconscious vibes are a big part of us and hopefully we are able to get conscious about those things that get in our way. The universe will respond to show you what is unconsciously part of your vibe - but you have to be open to the signs as being an inner state reflection.

Why doesn't the universe give us signs pointing towards what we DO want then?! If it always knows,why cant it tell us?! Why does it have to show us what we think we want,if we dont really want it? It's misleading! And now i'm even more confused because if i dont really "want" anything that i thought i did,then i must not really want anything.

Signs are reflections of our total vibe. The universe responds not only to what our conscious thoughts are but to our total being. It takes a lot to align our ego thoughts with total being. Our ego thinking is a tip of the ice berg and doesn't amount to much in terms of what the universe will show you back, when we aren't aligned with subconscious habits. This is why the universe might show us something other than what our conscious mind thinks - our habitual unconscious parts are usually getting in the way. Of coarse you want something with your conscious mind. That is ego. Ego is weak, not very powerful for bringing about desires. Total being on the other hand is something else - and doesn't want or strive, but rather accepts and allows. This whole LoA and IM stuff is about allowing and accepting. I don't think it's about us telling the universe what we want but being able to realize what the universe wants for us.

Well its doing just the opposite! Why would it make you think you're on the right track (and other people have even said i was on the right track!) if its not right? To make me learn that i'm doing it wrong? That's like in school if a teacher would praise the student for getting the right answer then suddenly saying "hahaaa!!! I was just joking! You were wrong! But i'm not going to give you the correct answer!" It's just retarded!

If one is obsessive, the universe will provide all the temptations to indulge such things. It's a mechanism that will show us how unconscious we are (hopefully). It's a freewill issue. We are allowed to choose to be unconscious and be lead into all sorts of dead ends. And the universe will respond with temptations. Then it's up to us to decide about it. If you like banging your head against the wall, the universe will give you walls. To be able to "be on the right track" is to see signs as temptations too. And temptations are the unconscious vibes manifesting. All that has to be made conscious and non-ego so that ones ego is aligned with spirit. It's being humble and allowing and not insisting to the universe that is must be a certain way.

It's your own lesson. The universe isn't trying to say you are doing the right thing then take it away. It's trying to show you what path you are putting yourself on and let you decide if you want to keep doing that. And a lot of that path is on automatic pilot based on what we've done in the past and habituated.

Signs that a guy is "supposed to be with you" is more like showing you how you attached to this image of that. Along with some other stuff that is probably unconscious that has made this "soulmate" show up as unavailable.
