This idea is hard to wrap my mind around. Does this pertain to family members too? Because those we can't help who we have,we are born into a life with them,we don't choose them. I'm just having a hard time understanding how everyone in our lives is a reflection of an aspect of you. That would mean that we all have like,1000 aspects because thats about how many people we might have in our lives. Does this include classmates? Does this include co workers? How can EVERYONE be a reflection of something inside of us?

Picture this. A person is standing in front of a tall mirror. They look in the mirror and think to themselves "goodness that person is a mess! look at those wrinkly and dirty clothes!". The person tries cleaning the mirror with windex and even moving the mirror around, but no matter what they do the person in the mirror still has wrinkled and dirty clothes.

We think it is silly because the image in the mirror is obviously a reflection of the person standing in front of it, but the person does not realize they are looking into a mirror at all. They think there is something wrong with the mirror.

I totally understand this but only when i think of it as a person in front of a mirror. But a person standing in front of another person,to me that isnt the same thing at all. What if there was a really sharp dressed lawyer standing in front of a bum? How would the bum reflect ANY aspect of the rich lawyer? They're nothing alike.

So going by what that says,all we have to do is clear our hearts and this person will break up with whoever they're with and suddenly want you? lol It sounds too corny that that could be the answer. Too good to be true,too.

The ego is not concerned about being able to choose "who" to love, but in what package it comes in. The ego wants to get, not to give.

I see what you're saying,but that still doesn't change the fact that something inside me wants a certain type of person. I can be aware 'oh yes my ego wants him' but that doesn't stop me from still wanting him. Maybe i'll understand all this better after i get through that book i'm reading (Finding Each Other) i have a ways to go with it though.

I think i understand this...this means that sometimes in life,you will love someone that you didnt plan on loving,someone that you didnt choose to love. I've had this happen to me (not love but,we dated for 3 months) but it also didnt work out,either,so...even when i don't choose who to be with,it still doesn't work out LOL

You can share your Love with your SoulMate without having them before you in a body (and this is the key to manifesting them in the physical form). Open your heart to your SoulMate inside you (visualize them if you want) and just pour Love!

But this is what i've been doing,forever! Not even just with this guy,but EVERY guy i've ever liked! Since i've rarely ever physically HAD someone,i've been forced to just "share my love with them without having them physically". Basically that just means loving them from afar,only completing half the circle of love. How is this good enough? How can you truly love someone if you are the only one doing the loving,and it's all in your fantasies,not real life?

I liked the train story,although i find myself saying the same thing as with the mirror story...sure its a good story if youre just talking about catching a train! But when it comes to a REAL person,its different. Because trains dont mean that much to anyone. Who would get that obsessive over a certain train? They're all the same LOL

I'm sorry if it seems like i'm challenging everything you are saying,i just have to understand it in order to be able to apply it to my daily life,and i have a hard time understanding all this.
