A similar thing happened to me at Caribou Coffee (gawd, this is so trivial, but I have to relate it).
I was thinking really hard about getting a decaf mocha, but when I arrived I asked for a hot chocolate, because that is my habit.
"Whoops," said the cashier. "I just rang you up for a small mocha."
"That's okay," I said, "that's what I really wanted."
So I happily left the store, decaf mocha in hand.
