Default I'm supposed to create an ADHD diet?

I've got ADHD and I'd like to see if it's food allergies or if diet can get me off the meds. The problem is, it just doesn't seem feasible to find the time to figure out everything I can and can't eat, then slowly add one food at a time to see how it affects me. I mean, how long will this take? Plus, I can't expect my family to be on the same diet. Their food will be in the fridge and I won't have time for anything else and I'll eat it. I mean, it sounds like a military-like regimen. And, if you know ADHD at all, you'll realize it's nearly impossible for us to have any structure at all. I'd forget to eat if my stomach didn't complain. How can I tackle this seemingly insurmountable feat without a "Sven" (the Nordic looking guy on that commercial that makes all the plans for that family and runs around pushing them to get everything done)? I think healthcare should provide me with a coach like Rocky Balboa's. Any thoughts?
