Haven't the word juice-feast reached your ears? When I was crawling around a dieting forum some months ago it was becoming more & more popular.
"I had been dieting and to suddenly go from healthy to all sorts of meats, carbs, and bad food/drink was a little bit too much for my body."
That is the usual problem -- to either go on heavy dieting or to not diet.
Just try eat only fruit (juice is best though) & a little of some protein meal (can be in combination with carbs) somewhere in the middle of your day.
This might give you a taste of hunger-less calorie-restriction. It's wonderful!
