Advice For One About To Move Out To make it quick and clean, I am an 18 year old who is looking to move out within a month or two. Due to a multitude of different situations and events, I have never had a job besides working with my father in his own cabinet shop and solid surface repair at the airport with him. I also have never applied for a job, and am at this very moment actually researching everything that is necessary to do so successfully (which is how I found this site under the topic "10 Reasons To Never Get A Job").
What I would like is a little advice on where I should go with what I have, or what I should do considering my situation. It is not because I am lazy that I have come here asking for help, but rather because everything that is mentioned in the article I read makes sense, and I can clearly see it while looking for what all has to be done just to apply for a job.
I only have a month or two before I have to move out, and is thus why I am asking for advice. Would it indeed be smarter for me to start out getting a job before I try jobless alternatives, or is there another way I can successfully make enough money that I would be able to support myself alone within this short time period?
I am quite open to all forms of suggestions, critique, or additional questioning. |
