I really want to read technical books (programming, HTML, science, or even a complex law or politics book -- and no, I'm not in college).
What's the most technical book you've read using this system, and how does it compare to reading a book on another topic like self-improvement that wouldn't involve, say, source code or equations? |
So far, I've read Code Complete and Game Coding Complete. I've also photoread a few manuals for Automake and Autoconf, although I haven't fully activated them yet. I definitely know more about those tools, but there is still plenty to learn.
I told a coworker about the course, and he gave me a challenge: photoread his geometry/trig book. I plan to do so before the end of the year. I'll try to remember to post about it when I do.
