1 white feather and 1 microwave oven, let me explain:

1. White feather: I was reading another thread in the IM forum and I believe ALG had made reference to the blue feather experiment and member StaceyT had recently manifested a blue feather. I read her post and I thought that was pretty incredible. But it's March and in Canada where I live it's still very cold and tons of snow on the ground, so no birds around and definitely not any blue jays, technically I can't confirm or deny that I've ever seen a blue jay locally except maybe on a baseball cap. But StaceyT thought about a blue feather and she got one. Well I said, blue just doesn't seem possible, how about just a regular white feather - that seemed more plausible to me (again that's a limit or block I'm placing on myself, I have to learn to remove those limits, apparently I'm my own biggest limiting factor). Back to the story, I said to myself I would like to manifest a white feather within the next couple of days, I won't question how it comes or how long it takes (but I said sooner would be nicer). I put it out there and here's the thing that gets me, I pretty much forgot about it for the next 2 days. I'm sweeping up the living room/dining room area at the house where my kids & wife live (I'm currently separated from my wife but I'm still active in my children's lives & I help my wife take care of our home as much as I can, being a single parent isn't easy). So I'm sweeping up the usual debris & dust from the hardwood floors and while I'm sweeping what flies up from the dust, a solitary white feather, it catches my eye. I stop sweeping and I start looking for it, I swore I saw a white feather, look around for a minute and I find where it ended up falling. Only 1 white feather, a small one but it's a feather, it's white and there are no other feathers to be found. We don't have any pets (we have a fish and I know he hasn't grown any feathers recently). I picked it up and I look at it and just said to myself quietly... "it worked!" It may be a small item but it isn't meaningless, it's what I intended and it manifested, thought about it, placed the request out there and then I literally forgot about it and only remembered about the IM when I found the feather. Tell me that isn't weird, it could be just one huge coincidence but I don't think so, I really do believe I manifested it.

2. The microwave: I mentioned above that I'm currently separated from my wife. I'm still over at our house quite regularly, watching the kids & what not. My wife had asked me to go in to the garage and look for a shelving unit which she was sure she had seen in there. A week or 2 prior to this, I was thinking that I needed a microwave at my appartment, we had just purchased a new one for the home but I didn't want to purchase a new microwave, we had one from our previous home but it was boxed up and the boxes weren't labeled properly. I didn't tell my wife I needed a microwave so I know she didn't go looking for it for me. On one garage wall, I have piled up something like 50+ cardboard boxes of our possessions that aren't unpacked yet, 1 neat little wall of taped up cardboard boxes (all the boxes are the exact same size & type, we got them from a whse). What do you think I kick my foot up against when I'm looking for this shelving unit? One of those boxes that was originally against the garage wall and on top of that it's opened already and inside of it is... the microwave oven I had been thinking about. I hadn't looked for it, I hadn't stepped inside this garage for the past 2-3 months because it's winter, we hadn't used it to park the van inside since all of our belongings were still in there, it's more of storage locker right now than a automobile garage. I hadn't been in this garage in months, I don't think my wife was in there either because she hates the way the garage looks right now (one big storage catastrophe - LOL), I know I hadn't pulled this cardboard box from the wall of boxes I just mentioned. In the middle of a garage is sitting on the floor, 1 box, opened and inside the thing I had wanted. I didn't even intend this as an IM like the white feather I had described above. I was thinking I needed a microwave and would like to have the one we used at our previous home, I thought about it a few times. I can't even say how much emotion I put into thinking about it because it's too vague to recall and I pretty much forgot about it for 1-2 weeks. Another coincidence, that is a possibility but seriously it's a little spooky that the thing I needed was presented to me in the middle of the garage floor, opened up so that I could see it plain as day and every other cardboard box we have stacked against the wall of the garage. I stopped looking for the shelving unit, grabbed the microwave and put in my car.

Both of these examples have 1 thing in common, I forgot about them both for several days. Seems to be a bit of a common theme here and although I asked for both of them, I don't think the amount of energy I placed into the requests was that great, probably fairly minimal or maybe I think it was minimal. The white feather experiment (by RobC) was a test to prove IM would work and the microwave well, it's something I wanted, needed, forgot about and got it.
