How convinient...no matter what the ultimate and undeniable responsibilty lies with the female. If you are going to say that both should be responsible then take it all the way...prosecute male or female who decides not to go through with it.

A lot of the things you are saying are very easy to say from the postition of being a man in a patriarchal society.

ETA: Also, sorry, but no matter how many children you and your wife have, you will never know what it is like to carry a baby or labor with and deliver one. I am not dismissing your role of caretaker for your wife during her pregnancy. Good for you. But don't act like it's anywhere near the same as her role.
