Blue is a sacred color and the color of the heavens. A good color for your "penthouse".
Be patient with yourself and do not be afraid. Fear is a low-vibration state and not one to take with you into your prayer-space. Next time you go up, listen not with fear, but with curiosity and openess. Allow the sounds to be just that; sounds. Do not try to make them mean something or bring in Hollywood's version of what posessed evil is supposed to be like. Just allow yourself to be free and an observer. Allow things to come to you.
Once you've conquored your fear, then start asking questions again and see if that helps. Remeber though, good questions only.
