Acting Like Godot is on a distinguished road

Excuse me, but the way I see it, your problem is not your website.

Your intention is very clear and specific. You would like to go on a world tour. Not have a nice website, or sell music on the Internet, or become better-known via your website.

So let me say that again - your intention is to go on a world tour.

Now it seems to me that you are already known to many notable folks in the industry. And also I presume that you have quite clear ideas of the kind of band you'd want to tour with (ie not just any teenybopper band).

So I think that from a "take action" perspective, maybe you should just reach out directly to those musicians / bands whom you WOULD like to tour with (like, call or email or meet them or their agents, send them your demos or tapes or whatever). Or ask Art Alexakis, David Bowie, Eddie Money etc to introduce you to bands that you do like and which ARE looking for a guitarist.

And to be persistent with the above.

Also, I do not think that your age is such a big consideration because there are definitely many notable examples of middle-aged folks and senior citizens in the music industry who continue to tour, perform, sell and generally do quite well. The Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Bono etc. And correct me if I am wrong, but Ray Charles was performing right up till he died somewhere in his 70s. I figure you still have a lot of time.

Now, from a LOA point of view, perhaps you'd like to discuss what actually you have been doing, so that people on this forum can give some feedback, ideas etc on where you might not have been doing the optimal thing (as far as LOA technique etc is concerned).
