Sounds like a medium to low grade persistent sinus infection.

I don't know about honey and garlic being toxic. I'd only shell out the bucks for organic honey (and it ain't cheap) and I'm picky about my sources of supplements like garlic but other than that ... I'd want to see credible references to say they are inherently toxic.

But it's beside the point really because the things you're taking are better for soothing than curing. Looks to me like high-dose vitamin C (as much as you can stand without getting the runs -- several grams a day) and 25,000 IU of Vitamin A for a few days (long term toxicity potential but okay for limited time, especially in this situation) will do you more good; they'll help boost your immune system to combat this.

Strongly consider supplementing with Vitamin D, too, this time of year, especially if you're in a climate or situation where you get very little sun.

Some people also swear by flushing their nose & sinuses with sterile saline solution a couple times a day ... if it works for you, it can do wonders for a persistent sinus infection. My wife was once given this advice by a physician and it worked pretty well for her, despite her comprimised immune system.
