Letting go 'Let go' is a phrase, I've heard or said throughout my life, but never really understood how to actually do it. It is an especially hard thing to do when you feel like your world is crashing down around you. Recently, I think I have figured out how to do it and thought it might be interesting to write a thread and hear how others do it.
As I said, my realisation is recent, so I haven't really had the opportunity to put it to the test on the big things, but it has worked with small things.
The answer is quite simple... and I learnt it from Eckhart Tolle.
1. Acceptance... it is as it is.
2. Refrain from thinking about the story of the issue. |
