It can often be caused by high levels of stress, for example you often see it in people who have high pressure jobs - business executives, football managers, air traffic controllers. It is heightened if you have sleeping problems - well stress can lead to sleeping problems, which can lead to further stress too, and so on..

Try and make some time for yourself just to relax, or taking up a relaxing past time like yoga, meditation, or tai chi could be beneficial for you - if not something as simple as putting your feet up and reading a book might do.
