I have used entrainment to help me sleep better, and the effects have been immediate and also very noticable.

But when it comes to seeking a different state of consciousness, I don't put much trust in it. There are other ways, including meditation, that are much more effective. Entrainment isn't that different from drugs, when you think about, since you're relying on something external to achieve results.

WHen it comes to changing my state of mind, I want the resources to be available to me whether I'm in the comfort of my room or trapped in a cave without my iPod. As soon as I can sleep well without the entrainment, I will stop using it immediately.
