You haven't fully let go of this relationship which is why you haven't met anyone new yet. Don't forget you sent out the 'psychic hello' before he contacted you. You are still sending energetic hooks out to him because, as you said, you are worried about being alone. You know deep down that is not a good enough reason to be with anyone really.
I have to say if you really were full of love for your ex, you wouldn't be on here asking for us to validate your decision to be with him. You would be so swept up in love for him that you would already be with him rather than trying to rationalise your decision.
Be strong. You might find it helpful to visualise cutting the energetic cords that are tying you to your ex and sending him on to live a happy life with love. I'm sure the right person will come along when you are able to let your ex go. |
