Default My Massive (Delusional) Life Goals

Lately I've been thinking about what I can do in the long run if I live like the person I am at my core.

Some of these goals, considering my history, appear completely delusional.
If that thought arises, well your right. It is delusional in many ways.
There is no evidence in my past that suggests I'm capable of doing this.
There is also no evidence that suggests it CAN'T be done.

I intent to prove to myself that these goals are not delusional, simply by accomplishing them instead of merely talking about them.

These are truly long term goals and as such they are big, I like a challenge.

First though, who am I at my core?
These goals are all a expression of this so its only natural I start where they arise from.

- First of all I'm a teacher and a student. I will always seek to learn more and teach this to other people.
- Second at my very core I love life, every part of it. I love nature, just for nature. I love people, just because they are people. As such I want to protect them, nourish them and give life space to grow.
- Thirdly I specifically love people, who they are, what they are, why they do what they do. People are simply fascinating and I enjoy learning about them.
- Fourth I love reading and figuring out how life works, I love to improve my own life. I'm incredibly gratefull that I have so much oppertunity to make my life like a dream, I owe it to life itself that I take this oppertunity.
- I'm a positive person, I see life on the brightside and I bring joy to everyone close to me. I'm a compassionate person.
- I'm a man on his purpose, driven by something greater then himself.
- I have a analytical mind. I am good at planning and achieving.

This is who I am at my core and that is what these goals will reflect, my life itself will become a reflection of who I am.

Short Term (1-3 Months)
- Finish a large proportion of the Phenomenal Memory course.
- Get my propedeuse degree and prepare everything to switch educations.
- Improve my physical well being, possible idea's are to further sharpen my diet, cut out alcohol completely and exercize more frequently.
- Build up my Herbalife business towards 1000 euro/month. This is the minimum requirement to move out of my parents place.
- Make all the preperations needed to move out.

Middle Term (3-6 Months)
- Switch towards a Biology Bachelor education.
- Finish up Phenomenal Memory course and start applying this to my studies and general life.
- Start reshaping my new apartment to better fit my vision of the future. This includes (amongst other things); a neat organizing system, a minimalist lifestyle, buying a laptop (this is going to be my mobile operation center) and going paperfree (outside of notes, I think better writing stuff down).
- Build a strong social life, become comfortable in any social situation I might find myself in. Establish a 'home base' of new contacts in this university setting, take maximum advantage of the oppertunity this provides. Learn to lead people in the process.
- Further enhance my health habits. This is a continues process, from this point forward it is assumed that I maintain and develop these habits.
- Further develop my speaking abilities through taking on every oppertunity I might get to speak, this means doing HOM's (Herbalife Oppertunity Meetings) for Herbalife and speaking in Toastmaster clubs. Also focus on learning to lead.
- Maintain my Herbalife business while I am getting settled in and handle everything else.
- In short streamline my life, point all my arrows in one direction.

Long Term (6 Months - 3 Years)
- Finish my Bachelor degree in Biology.
- Dramatically expand my Herbalife business, income goal in the range of 10k-50k/month depending on factors like time and difficulty. I can better assess this when I get to this point.
- Further develop my speaking skills in Toastmaster and Herbalife.
- Start living more frugally cutting back costs everywhere except when it comes to health or personal education (books, courses etc.).
- Start learning more about investing and carefully take my first baby steps. This is of major importance for my very long term goals, as such research is going to be very in depth including reading books, discussing this with people and getting accustomed to this financial environment. My past experience with poker will greatly benefit this (there are a lot of commonalities).
- Start building my investment portofolio.

Very Long Term (3-9 Years)
At the end of this period I'm turning 30 which is a milestone in terms of goals.
- Finish my Master Degree, in what depends on my viewpoints at this point.
- Further expand my Herbalife business into a income range of 50k-100k/month. Invest most of this income, in my 20's I'm frugal, in my 30's I further compound on this and in my 40+ years I use this capital for good.
At this point I'm looking to continue the habit of cutting back costs everywhere excepth health, education and traveling (added). The goal is to live reasonably comfortable on 3-5k/month leaving 90+% for investing purposes.
- Further expand my knowledge on investing, make sure that there is a good mix of low risk/low yield and high risk/high yield with everything in between.
- Start traveling around the world learning more about Permaculture and similar farming methods. Learn about world problems and issue's.
- Further expand my Social and Speaking skills.

Beyond (9+ years)
- Start a Permaculture farm, use this as a living 'laboratory' where I test various methods. Start setting these up in various climates while constantly advancing the technique's used. Employ local people to maintain the farms and learn the technique's in the process, allow them to actively participate in developing the whole systems approach. Possible idea's is using the overal approach of Permaculture and mixing it with new technology to increase production or decrease time/energy involved.
- Build my investment capital to the point where it takes over my Herbalife income, at this point switch over to maintaining income instead of focusing on increasing it. Make sure at all times that my total capital increases ever so slightly, the less I spend now the more valua I can give in the future.
- Spread the Permaculture principles of whole systems thinking, biodiversity and sustainable farming. Spread a message of peace and contribution, that which truly matters.

After this all bets are off, these are not hard and fast goals. Its very much possible that my Very Long Term goals and Beyond will change over time, in fact I'm almost expecting it. The growth I will need to go through requires to change my perspectives and attitudes. This means that goals change with them. Right now this path feels like the right choice, is intellectually correct and vibes with all my beliefs about reality.

These goals pretty much cover my main direction in life, on top of that I have several side goals like learning to play a instrument and learning to play chess (or Go) to develop myself as a person.
These side goals also include various skills I might learn along the way that can aid me in my main direction of life.

Possible challenges
- Especially the Long Term+ goals will put me in front of thousands of people, making me a public figure. To prepare myself for this I need to learn to open up more, I need to learn how to lead people and trust my own decisions, I need to learn how to be more social (a skill). If you look carefully at the progression of my goals you can see that these are slowly trained untill it produces a snowball effect. First comes building my Herbalife business, this requires me to become more social, you can't help a customer by sitting in my room. Then comes Toastmasters which builds all of these life skills. Next up comes the 'next level' of Herbalife, which requires even more commitment and social skills. After that it snowballs into bigger and more challenging.
- The headaches of managing large quantities of money, dealing with the worry and controlling my emotions. If there is one thing I learned from poker is that its not what you know but what you feel that determines (past a certain point) the amount of profit you make.
Meditation can help me to a large degree in this department.
- Ego problems, if I accomplish even half of these goals I'll get a lot of attention. At that point its easy to slip into Ego thinking which is incredibly dangerous.
Meditation can help me gaurd against this looming threat.
The necessity of building this up also means I've got time to get used to my new reality.
- Motivation problems, the difference between a huge goal that motivates incredibly and a huge goal that scares you incredibly is minute.
The results however differ massively, its the difference between massive success and 'failure'. Its a risk I have to take if I want to accomplish this.
I need to be carefull not to blow things up for myself.

Thank you for reading this far, I appreciate it.

Ps. This is a outline, I have a more detailed plan for the upcoming 1-5 months including Habit Building Rounds and action plans.
