It's difficult to convey spiritual experience through the written word. Because of the heightened/extended sensory nature, words often fail to explain. Along with respect and humility, to experience more of ourselves beyond the physical requires openness, curiosity and almost childlike trust or innocence that is devoid of fear. Authors of children's books (like Alice in Wonderland and The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe) capture the quality with the main characters interrelating with respect within the 'out of the ordinary' environments they find themselves in.
