I usually get a message when I am doing something like cleaning, driving, working, cooking...I'll just be going about my task with thoughts running through my head, and then I will usually just say something involuntarily to myself out loud...when I first realized this happens, I would usually forget what it was I said to myself out loud, but I am getting to the point where I remember sometimes. Its just so unexpected that when I realize what happens, I forget it as well.
I also receive poems about people I meet or talk to, but they are not usually as long, just something like a clever saying. The only example I can think of at the moment was when I was at a concert, I saw this extremely tall guy walking around, and the thought "Big in flesh, small at heart" came to me. It's a bit insulting, honestly, but that's what I thought, and those little statements with clever wording is usually how it comes through.
