That's absolutely fascinating to read -- thank you so much for posting it. I graduated from university a year and a half ago and my first (& current!) job is in the support & testing team of a tiny software company, about 14 employees.

I've always felt drawn to small companies over large ones, but it's really interesting to hear from someone who's experienced both (especially as I'm strongly considering moving to a different career soon -- I've been applying for some jobs along the writing/editing path, which is what I really want to do with my life. Tech support gets dull after a while...)
