If you have some time and want to read a book a week you just need to get some interesting material and make it habit.
Sometimes when you sit down to read the first few minutes you may get distracted and be thinking about other things. But if you tell yourself you will read at least 20 minutes each day, as a rule, then you will likely get into it and end up reading much longer.
20 min was just a random figure. I don't each keep track of time - but I do make an effort not to put the book down in the first few minutes because I'm distracted from what's gone on in my day, etc
