Santeria, Roots, Curses, Black Magic
Hi everyone. Here's my question...
Is it possible to effectively be the object of a hex/curse/spell/black magic if you yourself do not ascribe to those theories and are to some degree skeptical that they even are authentic?
I have a dear friend whom I love who is a wonderful person and an exceptional humanitarian who has experienced an excessive stream of bad and sad luck, freak accidents, and unrelenting dark spells of depression. All in this course of the past 365 days.
This friend puts out amazing and impactful contributions to help heal human suffering in his line of work. He is humble, authentic and longsuffering for issues affecting humanity and yet, over the past year has been the recipient of some of the most incongruous and negative fortune that I've ever seen one person subject to in such a short period of time.
I just recently began suspecting that perhaps someone, specifically a lover scorned, could have possibly successfully had some kind of hex put upon him? I became more convinced this weekend after he suffered a freak accident of sorts that has left him injured...nothing longterm....but it struck me as indicative of something else at work over his safety and his progress. Each negative occurrence ranges from inconvenience to injury or illness to chronic depressive episodes to professional setbacks ...whomever has done this wants to prevent growth and happiness for him and maintain a consistent state of discord and sadness in his life.
Is it possible for this to have occurred even though he is a skeptic and an intellectual who doesn't give much thought to the paranormal....?
Can a curse be put on someone who doesn't necessarily believe in it? If so, what's the course of action to end it and gain protection from future attacks of this kind?
