Did a little brief ritually kind of work, whatever you want to call it, for my partner, on the fly, after a really stressful day the other day that involved her quitting her job because of getting abuse/harassment on the job from other people. She was very unhappy that day and felt like there was no one on her side, ended up crying through the night, was still crying the next day.
I haven't been instructed much in actual magick techniques, but I've been enough religions to have a fair idea of how to pray, so I did something by the seat of my pants.
I made a circle in my mind (no actual ritual outside of visualization) based upon work I've been studying, asked personal deity to bring my partner people who really care about and love her. Then I thanked personal deity, re-absorbed circle back into myself, and took a nap.
Half an hour later, someone taps on the window, then opens the door and pokes their head in... I almost jumped out of my skin b/c I didn't have my glasses on and saw a blond blob.
IT WAS HER SISTER.
Very trippy. Very, very trippy.
