These are not easy starters, but are most accurate, IMO:
Subjective Reality This is Steve's link but you can Google for others
The Seth Material
including these books:
The Nature of Personal Reality
The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events

Also learn a little bit on chakras, so you'll get the lingo.

I'd skip the Law of Attraction, it's really popular around here but it's buggy.

On edit: Don't know if you were kidding or not, but steer clear of any practice that has you transcending the physical body.
