Hello!
I have the problem of the following content. I am 17 years old and currently taking AS levels in college (I live in UK and basically this is my first year in college (that is 1 more left)). The thing is we already have to think about what to do in the near future, i.e. whether to go to uni or not. And that's VERY hard for me. I cannot decide what my interests are, which career path will be 'right' for me.

And know, having read some Steve's articles, I am even in doubt whether it is worth going to uni. For example, Steve's live experience (well, as I see it)... he went to uni, got 2 degrees, but he does completely different thing now from what he has learnt. A lot of people go to uni, spend there 3-4 years, start working and only then realise that they need a change, they prefer something different.
I even do not know clearly what I want from my life yet... But I want to do something exciting NOW, not in the future, when I will finish uni, get job (i.e. will have money as I do not have any now) and will have possibilities to do with my life what I want to. It seems for me that now I am in a kind of trap, a route which I have to follow until the end (as majority of people does) - finish college and probably go to uni. I hope you understand what I mean.
Has anyone ever experienced the same feeling/situation as I do now? What can you suggest? Do I go to uni? If not, what do I do instead? are there any ways of finding my true interest? Please have your say as I am VERY confused.
Thank you for your attention.
Dimitry
