One thing I'd like to say is that LOA also requires action. As you said Edison did not give up. He kept taking action until the light came on.
LOA also requires our minds to be tightly closed against all negative and discouraging influences.
LOA calls for us to become detached from the outcome, to let go, to certainly have our dreams but to remain living in the present.
When things don't work out the way we want them to be, it calls for us to have faith that ultimately we are not in control and that the Universe may well have other plans for us! |
I first noticed that you are from New Zealand...lol,let me explain. The guy i like wants to move to NZ and after i learned about it,i thought it would be the perfect place to live cuz i cant stand this country anymore. So then after i thought, well,if i'm going to be with him i'd end up living there too! And i was so excited. Then,THIS IS NO LIE,the next day,out of the blue, somebody at work asked me if i would ever want to live there! And every few days after that i either read it somewhere or heard someone say it on tv,and every time it popped up,i said to msyelf,'oh my God!! This IS going to happen, this is too much of a coincidence!" It happened like 10 or 11 times over the course of the next week! But,now i feel like this can't work so every time i see "new zealand" now i just get sad. Anyway,on to your post...
Like i said in my last post,i dont understand how the law of detachment can work in your favor. LoA says the more energy you put into something, the better. And whatever you think about, you bring about. So by NOT thinking about it,how can you bring it about? And why would anyone want to manifest something they dont care about in the first place? They say you have to really want it,well...to me its impossible to really want something and not think about it or care if i get it or not.
