What are you focusing on if not the moment? And if your root chakra is all fiery, might as well focus there. Practice moving the energy through your body, gently, so you can have your root present and be able to chill at the same time. Really focus on your breath when you do this. When it becomes ok to have your root present in meditation, you won't see it as interfering with the other energies.
