Hey All, I'm new to these forums but thought I would pipe up while reading this water fast thread.
I'm currently almost done day 2 of a water fast (with a tea each day and lotsa psyllim fibre). This is my first water fast, I have juice fasted twice before for 2-3 days with good results.
I decided on a water fast this time because I've probably got an extra 10-15 pounds of fat that could go, so I'm not worried about getting anything into me for fuel.
In general, the only feelings I've had over the last two days were psychological. And reading about fasting seems to stop those feelings entirely. It really is amazing how much free time and energy I have, and I slept great last night. For a day 2 this isn't bad. I expect tomorrow may be worse, because I have to work. And if it gets bad I may turn it into a juice fast sometime tomorrow.
