I manifested myself a relatively new car today. I had been planning on taking a nice long rode trip by myself. My car had about 70,000 miles and I hadn't taken it in to be serviced for awhile. So, I was thinking "taking a road trip, make sure the car is in good condition" and I've been thinking that for like a month.

So the other day my tail light bulb goes out. I figure, well here it is, I've been thinking of taking my car in and now the universe has forced me to do it, lol. So I say "look at the car I want it ready for my road trip". So they tell me all my brakes are shot, it's going to cost me about $1,000. I was about $1800 away from paying the car off. My dad said, let's see about a newer car. So basically, today I traded it in, no down payment, my monthly payment is the same but it's in a car with better gas mileage, my interest rate has been reduced from 21% when I had horrible credit, now to 10%, I get to skip this month's car payment I would have made today. And I saved the $1,000 that would have gone to the old car's repairs, the trade in was my down payment. And I like this new car. It was also only there today, the car got there and I showed up a few hours later. Someone else would have snagged it. :P

It's funny, looking in my email yesterday I got one that said "looking for a new car?" lol. This comes one day after I got an invitation to go on a job interview, I was feeling great about getting over my fear of leaving my current job and having someone say they liked my work and wanted to meet me, the next day I have a new car. It's like my life is speeding up here.

Edit, two nights ago I was writing my goals just before bed, and I almost wrote down "get new car" but I didn't. Guess it happened anyway.
