Hi, interesting discussion..,

I think certain people could be Darkworkers for example, Arnold Schwarzenegger or Donald Trump.

They're both very focused and driven to succeed and their motivation seems to be for personal gain of power, status, ego-satisfaction etc.

That isn't to say that they're 'bad' people or that they haven't enriched the lives of lots of others - they clearly have. Trump's built some beautiful buildings, provided employment for thousands of people and is an example of potential in the field of Capitalism and financial abundence.

Arnie has boosted the health industry (arguably), made some entertaining films and is now involved in politics.

Whether one likes them or not, it's clear that their 'darkworker' focus has made an impact.

Good examples of Lightworkers are probably Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Delai Lama, Tom Hanks (joking!)..

I think the thing is they're not (very) conflicted.. they know what they're committed to: SELF or OTHERS.

eg. Two car salesmen.. the Darkworker works for the profit, but he knows he can't sell a heap of junk..cos the customer will come back to him and it would cause him grief. So he's motivated to make profit and avoid trouble for himself.

The Lightworker works to give value and wants the customer to have a safe, enjoyable car.

They both sell the same car, in the same good condition..but different motivation.

(Obviously the Darkworker could let his greed overcome his good sense, or the Lightworker could allow himself to be ripped off by his customers.)

Anyway, that's my thoughts.
