I just did the lunch interview!

Basically it's all systems go. The guy says, "The job is yours, if you want it." He says he will stop talking to other candidates until I revert to him on the offer.

I have told him my current salary and that my current employer is about to announce an annual salary increment anytime now (should be this week). My interviewer says that he is willing and able to improve significantly on my current salary + increment.

Although I stopped short of asking him how much he will improve on my current salary increment, my feel is that an increase of $5,000 is definitely on the cards. I mean an increase of $5,000 per month.

Cdn2wheeler, are you reading this? Don't give up on the LOA, my friend. It really works!!
