In FL we have a range of temps from 100-70 mostly. In CO I have seen it go from over 100 degrees in the summer to below zero in the winter. To me that's NUTS.

As nutty as it sounds, I prefer to run when it is around 35.
If it drops below that I need gloves and long tights. I use Mizuno tights and they actually crate of trap muscle warmth so you stay toasty warm and comfortable. You wear a beanie to trap head heat in and I find that winter running (Except for the black ice) very enjoyable.

Having said that I am very excited to go to Hawaii in three weeks and do some warm running although I know it will be very difficult for the first week. Got to re-acclimate to warm again.
