And in case you don't know what the picture is, the man burning is a Vietnamese Buddhist monk who sacrificed his life to protest against the oppressive government during the Vietnam War. He meditated for several weeks in preparation and eyewitness said that he did not move a muscle as he was burning. He simply died peacefully and dropped over when he died. Amazing. |
