I'd love to participate in this, but I don't want to go about it randomly. What I would love to do is test a trading strategy of some sort and see how it works.
For the longest time, I've been wanting to find a mechanical stock trading system that I can use.
Does anyone know of a system/strategy out there that consistently works over the long haul?
Right now, the only one that makes any sense and appeals to me is NoLoad FundX. However, it's a mutual fund / ETF strategy, so it moves a little slow and you don't trade very often. Not saying that is a bad thing, but I was looking for something that deals more with individual stocks.
From that standpoint, value investing (ie. Rule #1) looks the best, but it's hard to find those stocks. In other words, I don't know how to find them, and I don't want to pay a ton of money to someone else to do it for me! I'd rather learn how myself. :-)
