I don't have the answer to this one but I'm inclined to agree with Dharma's "it's resistance" statement. Apparently I had a great deal when my son was born - enough that I never had even a smidge of desire to ever go through it again. Don't get me wrong, he turned out to be worth it, but childbirth nearly got us both. I'm curious how different the experience would be now with my altered belief system and increased awareness.
